If you THINK you're in it then you MOST probably are.

THAT'S the tagline of my exclusive club. (Thanx to Di who came up with these golden words while we were on our now-weekly sushi session). What's so special about my club you may ask...?

My club is special because the members are not aware of their membership....HAHA! Hence its exclusivity. Just do this guys...think hard about it, if suddenly you feel that you're in it...you feel that there's a high chance that you are part of this club since you see me so often and you talk to me everyday so how could I have possibly not include you (and perhaps I give you the vibe that you're in my club)...believe me...you will feel ENLIGHTENED...and then as the tagline goes....you are most definitely in it! Very illuminati-ish yes....that's the whole point...well...almost.

It all started with Chan (actually, i think i've secretly created this club during one of my "talk-to-the-wall" days) asking me this qn, "Are you guys having a party up there?" So Chan...feel flattered please for I hold you partly accountable for the creation of my club (and for the fact that some peeps are going nuts trying to figure out what this club is all about). Come on...abandon that underground club of yours (after all, mine is much cooler) and come forth as the shareholder of my club...this is an offer u mustn't resist (and even if you do, read again the statement on the exclusivity of this club).

Members...remember this:

Seek no answers. Thou shalt not question the origins nor the purpose of this exclusive club.

Huka chaka huka huka...!

(hmmm....is that right?...oh heck...i shall create my own chant!)

we bout to swang them thangs

Atrium restaurant had so much good stuff esp. the seafood section. That was the highlight of my fine-dining session! And there were so many different desserts....If I had more space to spare, I would have tried the chocolate cake and fruit tarts. I think my Mom would have loved it there coz of the yummy desserts! Aarrrghhhh...next time, i gotta starve myself the whole day instead of half a day.

Neil Sedaka was great...his voice is as fantastic as before and he could still dance! After the concert, we took the bus to the city and then walked to Metro City. It was sooo damn packed! When Di msged me, I couldn't resist replying back with a lie. I knew she would fall for it! Hahahah...sorry guys!

Yes....I like the fact that one of the Djs played "Girl Fight"....I was hoping they would play it at the river cruise last week. So that was a superb surprise when I heard it at Metro C! Overall, it was different from the previous SuperC but it was good nonetheless. The MC's cool too! He goes up there and do his thang without trying very hard to be a nigga coz he is one anyway...hahaha....I know Rami's down-to-earth when he's behind the scenes like when I saw him at groove but when he's on stage (even tho' he's good), he puts on this front so that he'd be nigger-ish. Doesn't come off smooth at times.

There was like a fight between this Aussie guy and girl. Jan and I quickly walked away from the floor and went to the platform. Once the guy got shoved by the girl, we ran away...hahaha...it was quite hilarious.

Okay...i shall attempt to do more readings today. And figure out which topic to do for my major essay. I should try finish up my seminar paper as well....wooohoooo...and that's due in Week 12...talking bout kiasuism!

Approaching the much-awaited weekend

I forgot to mention that my application for a work visa has been approved last week and I've got my TFN yesterday. So everything's pretty much settled...now I just need a job. I keep changing my mind about it. Mom says that I don't have to work...she's wondering why I am so keen on working when I should be concentrating on my studies. Well...experience I supposed...and the other perks too!

This is the only time I can work at my own pace and not feel sooo stressed out over it coz it's not my permanent job. I don't see when else I can do freelance work like this. Oh....my knitting skills are getting better.....I'm so blardy obsessed with it. I went to the city again to get more yarn and OoOOoOoo...they're all soo nice and soft, i just wanna get them all!

Tomorrow, we're gonna have dinner at Annalaskhmi...is that how you spell it? I have no idea..never been there so i'm quite excited bout it. It's a long weekend and my schedule's pretty darn packed. Haha..hope everything goes well.

Missy R on da swing

Okay so I was having a mood swing. I'll tell the Moulin Rouge story now.

We left college at around 6.45pm and was lingering around the Swan Bells area till we were asked to board at around 8pm. It was quite psycho when we decided to play the chop-chilli-chop game while waiting around aimlessly. My goodness....most of the Trinity guys dressed up as women. Like....very attractive dudes..*rolls eyes*

Once we got onboard, we were shifting around for a while and then settled on seats somewhere near the dancefloor (surprise...surprise...). Had some snacks and drinks before we hit da dancefloor. Party-starters dropped some hot tunes....respect to Mikayla and her crew...not bad...not bad at all. I must drop my expectations a notch.

It was a nice first-time experience. Even tho' the after-river cruise plans did not go accordingly, I had a good time with the whole gang and hey....at least, at the end of the day, I acquired a new skill...hehehhe...I can't wait to get my needles and yarn.

Moulin Rouge

“Yes, I had come to live a penniless existence. I had come to write about truth, beauty, freedom, and that which I believed in above all things, love.”

It was supposed to be a special night. Turned out to be okay. I would rather write about my knitting session with Steph. Yes....I've learnt how to knit (and this started at midnite)...how exciting....According to Fiona and Steph, I'm a bit too ambitious (coz I mentioned something bout a blanket..haha). I shall knit some scarfs for da ladies in my family. Right...how long is that gonna take me? Hmmmmm........By the way...I love, love, love your staircase....oh wait...i did tell ya that rite? Hehehe!

Ended up sleeping at 6 coz had too much to talk about with Audz. I might upload some pics here. Shall let da pics do da talking.

"This story is about truth, beauty, freedom, but above all, love…"

How Does it Feel?

Title taken from one of Westlife's songs...predictable..haha.

I'm so psycho these days...well..more psycho than usual. I've been handwashing my clothes...crazy ain't it? So at the moment, since both of my hardworking neighbours are in Uni, I've hung my clothes to dry on both their airers plus mine of course.

As usual, I've been taking posters off the walls in Uni...hahah...shhhhh!! Now I have a poster of Venezuela's People's Power on my door and another one on my wardrobe door.

Okay we have this bet going...I don't know how it happened really but I think it came out of what little faith Chan and Di have in me waking up early to send reserve books back to the library at 8am. Lalalalala....yah guys...get the strawberry milkshake ready...! Too much y'know....too much....tsk tsk.....Hmmmm...and NO sabotaging...! If I win tomorrow, I'll put up a picture of myself with my much-deserved prize!

Curiosity kills the cat or NOT!

I think the title is quite apt as I recall Jamil's constant meow-ing...hahah..I am pleased...very pleased indeed as there have been many programmes on TV that are absolutely interesting and have had me glued for hours in a day. Firstly, it was the Pope's funeral and then, the royal wedding of Charles and Camilla.

There are many other things that have attracted my attention as well...and they are collectively known as my "distractions". And I would like to state that these "distractions" are essential in my quest of becoming smarter...yes...I want to be smarter..hahahah...i see some ppl rolling their eyes.

So now...amongst many things i've done my research on (that are not linked to my thesis whatsoever!) are the Illuminati, the Stone Templars, the Vatican City, the papacy [and no Di..i'm not a Dan Brown freak!!!], leeches [yes..simply because Chan was wondering why leeches are used during operations..and yes, this was our conversation at LUNCH! why oh why do we come up with such disgusting topics!] and royal familes [this has been on-going I must say].

Thus..let me reiterate again that these distractions of mine are healthy!

Signing off....
Pryncess of Canterburry..oh wait...Cadbury??...Hahhahaa!

I tried...

To forget about you
Tried to move on
Told myself it was not meant to be
I have to let go of us
For a couple of years
My heart refused to give in
I kept reading your letters
Not believing you said all those things
I heard our song
And my heart used to ache
I forced myself not to feel
When I hear those words you left me with
And then one day
It stopped.
I realised the aches were gone
I have finally moved on
Carried on with life and
Never once did I imagine
What it would be like if you came back
It had never crossed my mind
I could not put myself through it again
Never going to fall like I did
But I know I must be strong
And I have to let go of this fear
Because I feel myself falling
For your charm once again
How can I not love you
What do I tell my heart
Tell me, oh tell me now
How does one walk away
From all of the memories

...Raha

For Friendship Shake!

"How is it possible to feel nostalgia for a world I never knew?" - Ernesto "Che" Guevara

Today, I was initially woken up by Jamil who went " Razoo...wake up..it's 11.." on the balcony....I ignored her...hahah....and then, someone knocked on my door. I was like, "who's thatttttttttt?!?!?" I opened the door and saw Di....hahah....I had the "why-the-heck-did-u-knock-on-my-door" look on my face and so she reacted quite promptly by offering me strawberry milkshake...yayyy....xie2 ni! hehehhe!

We've been mispronouncing quite a number of words these days...instead of saying for friendship sake, yours truly went friendship shake...and then last night, Jamil answered my phone and went, "Rasoo residence"...like HUH?hahahha...yes..try again dok!

For the first time this aftanoon, Di met my supervisor....and she almost burst out laughing in front of him. She came with me to collect my article....and while we were climbing up da stairs at Soci, suddenly Roderic was already in front of me and he went, "Hi Raha..." in his usual tone. Once he was out of sight, Di couldn't contain her amusement. So yes..Jamil does it very well.

Had dinner with Audz today...we walked to Bibik Chan's....was planning to go to Nando's but ended up at BC. Came back at around 6.45 coz I had a mentors' meeting...didn't even remember signing up for it but I must have since Jodie sent me a "friendly" reminder.

Oh yah...Veenz n Jmil helped me figure out what to wear for da river cruise....yayyy! I hope it's gonna be an absolutely fun night!...I have a feeling it would be!

Cathryne was talking to me about how she got locked out of her room and she had an assignment due in an hour's time. So kesian...she was already panicking then Jamil just blardy came out of nowhere! Hahahah..Nas and I saw the "oh-my-God-I-got-the-wrong-person" look on Jamil's face...Muahahahahaha....padan muka!!!

The life man u...the LIFE!!:

I told ya Di...it would make a nice title on my blog...hahaha!..well...sub-title at least...hehehehe...I just realised last night that I have no dissertation seminar for da next 2 weeks. And last night....it was like a major reunion for the Lebz Fam....minus 2 members actually. I can't believe Boy has been missing for so damn longgggg coz of da Nazi gf...hahahah...and here I thought they were happy. Bahhh...what da heck lah did u get urself into?

Okay...I'm trying to get the pics off Veenz but she seems to be missing in action for da past 24 hours.

Court Hotel...Dancing under the stars

I wasn't up for it at first coz I felt a bit feverish...but then, things got betta and so I went. I'm glad I did coz i had one of the most enjoyable nights. The R n B section was quite good. Veenz, Pheli and me were the first few ones on the floor. The crowd got larger as midnight crept in. It was a very different atmosphere at Court. Unlike Rise, its crowd is certainly more friendly and easy-going. Thus, it was tremendous fun...the g-guys were so amiable and some of them came to dance with us. I was the victim of some butt-slapping routine...they beat me to it...damn!

Oh yeah... I had a nice surprise...Sylvie came! It was great to see her and the rest of her gang, whom I've heard about but haven't met till then. Many of our favourite songs were being played all thru' the night. And no Jamil (as Ying has also made it clear to me)....it wasn't just old-school..haha! Thanx y'all for making it such a good night out..! For the last time lah Ying..stop getting high and making me drive your manual car...as you'd know by now, i ain't that smooth with da clutch!

There u go...my first time at Court...!

Funny peeps!

I’ve just had the most hilarious conversation with Di, Liying and Nas. Oh my goshhh! It was sooo funny!!! My stomach hurts from laughing so much! We were discussing about the different names we could give to our kids and we came up with really weird and outrageous ones!! I was half-expecting the sisters to knock on my door and tell us to shut up!

So Nas wants some Egyptian names for her children and Liying…hahahah…prefers Kong King to King Kong…*rolls on the floor* BUT THE ULTIMATE WAS WHEN DI SUGGESTED WE NAME OUR CHILDREN BY SOUNDS…! That was super funny…especially when they acted out the different ways of calling the children…hahah! Aiyoh….where did all these crayzeee ideas come from man?! Hahahha....now I hafta get ready for Court...!

Yayyy....I've got my own dial-up!

And that's how these pics were uploaded! No....it's not broadband or ADSL but it's definitely sufficient for now...I've got sooo much to catch up on...not only talking about books, but people too.

As usual, I opened my eyes and checked the time on my handphone...that was when I realised that a msg was waiting to be read. In my blurry state, I could somehow fathom who the msg was from and what it was about. And then, I went back to sleep. Hmmmm.....yes I'm happy he msged me but I dare not be too hopeful/excited that he would continue to be around. He has done it once, he can do it again.

I'm listening to Elite's "Sesuatu di dalam dirimu"...ooOoOo...damn those lyrics! This whole album reminds me of secondary school...so nostalgic. I miss those days...I really do. But at the same time, I'm embracing this whole new life I have at the moment. No...I'm not saying that I've left my previous life behind...in fact, I take it everywhere I go...as a reminder of what not to do, as a motivation to move forward and as an affirmation that I have people whom I can trust..who have given me an unlimited amount of love that have kept me going...that have helped me surmount uncountable defeats and obstacles.

So yes...Sumi..if you're reading this: We are still as tight. Like I've said, it's only the circumstances that have made it seem otherwise.
"We family...ain't a damn thing change...unless it's you."

Stormy Weather

Brrrr! It's soooo cold! I miss this weather actually.....really fresh air...but too damn cold at times. The trees are swaying really violently. I woke up at noon today, only after my mom called, wondering why I was still in bed.

Went to the library today and got more books out. I'm happy that I've managed to get stuff on the Philippines. Oh yes...Roderic suggested that I do a comparison between Australia and the Philippines....i'm in for an exciting ride definitely. I know nuts about the Philippines...except of coz da cute actors and pretty actresses...and yes, I read on Marcos last year but that barely adds up to the essentials. Well...it's either the P or Indon....ermmm.....I have a bit of a prob with Indon pols. So there u go....the P it is then!

I watched "the Motorcycle Diaries" (courtesy of Di) last nite with Veenz, Chan, Mark and of coz, the owner of the DVD. It was certainly a good movie. Ernesto "Che" Guevara is my idol really (besides Mr T.B. who resides at 10, Downing Street)...when it comes to fighting for human rights...I know that there are many other people who have done impressive works for the less fortunate...like the late Princess of Wales and the late Mother Theresa...but Che is different. He began stepping forward after travelling miles and miles, having witnessed a thousand cases of poverty and mistreatment. His ideas were formulated after what he saw. He wasn't a rebel to begin with but he developed the compassion especially for those with leprosy, after seeing the other side of the world with his own eyes. I guess this is why travelling and taking in the wonders (plus the less beautiful things in life) of the world is important as it ensures the growth of our souls...the strengthening of our beliefs and ideas plus the enrichment of our principles.

There are so many magnificent places on Earth. I definitely hope that I would be able to explore all these amazing landscapes. I shall begin with Australia.....
