Back in Perth

Arrived at the airport slightly earlier yesterday. Once the plane landed, reality struck both Jamil and I. We are back in Perth…yes we are. Started unpacking and realised that some of my things were in Alicia’s room and a couple were missing. Went for dinner and found out that my TV was in Allison’s room….weird and totally screwed-up!

Took my things out from Alicia’s room and also from my old room…(yes…this is da last time I’m moving….i’m staying put in this room till end of da year!) Audz came over and so I had another person to help out with da stuff. And of coz, thanx to Nas and Jamil too!! Kiran was bugging us to go clubbing….when Sara saw me that afternoon afta my arrival, she was like, “You are going clubbing.” Huh??? Apparently, Kiran told her to pass me the msg. After much contemplation, we all went. Anyway, Rise is now da RnB central…I can’t believe I have da Rise stamp on me….arrrghhh! It didn’t feel right….even tho’ da whole Superclub crew was there….it just didn’t feel right….suddenly, my confidence level plunged to an absolute zero. A lot of questions went thru’ my mind…can I finish my thesis? Can I get thru’ the year? I sat down a couple of times and just started thinking about what to do with my life…hmmmmm…..Audz slept over in my room and we had one of those philosophy sessions.

I went for lunch and told them I was caught up about some issues when I was at da club…hahah…Kiran was suddenly enlightened…she was wondering why I sat thru’ some of my favourite songs. I don’t feel like socialising much….Now I understand how seniors felt during my 3-yr stint here in St Cat’s….My extreme involvement in college da past 3 years has made me feel slightly jaded. I just wanna detach myself from the college life that I have once immersed myself in and basically, I want to mind my own business… do my own things…at my own pace and perhaps, give a little bit more attention to things outside college..like stuff at da Dance Workshop and Groove.

We had a St Cat’s mocktail event for us to mingle around with da freshers that started at 8.30pm just now. At first, I didn’t feel up to it…but I went afta much persuasion from Jamil…had a nice time….there was a jukebox…i loved it!! Something really funny happened! Megge was carrying Yasmin and wanted to throw her into da small pond…Yasmin was sooo scared…(we believe Megge could have done it if she wanted to!)….anyway, Yasmin walked over to where Priya, Sara and I were standing at then she started searching for something under her sarong…we were looking at her, wondering what on earth she was searching for….then, she pulled something out and threw it on da floor….all of us looked at it…it started crawling!! Sara, Yasmin and me started screaming and running away!! It was hilarious!! Priya was already laughing like mad!!

Aiyoh….what a nite!

Fiestaaaa cuban-style!

I was a slave in the kitchen in da aftanoon and was looking forward to a nite of great salsa...Well, my Angah called to say he wanted to eat "sugee" so my mom made the dough and I had to roll them into tiny balls before putting them in da oven...anyway, he called again and was wondering why we had to use the oven because apparently, he wants the other sugee...aiyohhhh....

Okay...so then...I got ready for da nite out...At about 6.40pm, i left my house (supposed to meet at 7pm.....haha...what a joke!)...the taxi was already waiting downstairs....traffic was super congested....reached city hall at 7.30pm....picked Farah up...while Veena was still frantically looking for da taxi-stand..hahah....anyway.....saw her and we sped off to Victoria Theatre. (distraction: my nephew just came into da room to ask me to sign on his book because he'd forgotten to ask my sis to sign....when did i start taking on all these responsibilities...?....*thinks hard*)

It was a very energetic performance...i love some of the more ethnic-looking dance sequences....there were lotsa salsa, rhumba, mambo stuff....i like da history-telling bit...very informative....overall, it looked like it came straight out of Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights...hehehhe...

SQ loves me! Haha!

My Dad called in da aftanoon to deliver the good news...I've been on the waiting list for the 26th Feb and if no one changes his/her flight, I would have to go on the 25th. So anyway....i have a seat on the 26th now...so yayyy....an extra day in SG for me! This is the life of overseas students I must say.....if you're going home, you would want to go home as soon as possible so you'll be on the waiting list of an earlier flight...if you're going back to where you are studying at, you'll be on the waiting list of a later flight coz you want an extra day or two in your homeland....hahah...typical!

I'm sorting out the cds I wanna bring over to Perth...looks like a whole load of them..!

As I lay me down

It felt like spring time
On this February morning
In the courtyard
Birds were singing your praise
I'm still recalling things you said
To make me feel alright
I carried them with me today
Now

As I lay me down to sleep
This I pray
That you will hold me dear
Though I'm far away
I'll whisper your name
Into the sky
And I will wake up happy

Sunday Adventures

After lunch, my parents and I went to 'Giant' at Turf City to get some stuff for me to bring to Perth. It wasn't very crowded so shopping for da things was a breeze. Once we were done, my dad dropped me off at Tangs coz I had a "date" with Kak Suz. While I waited for her to arrive, I went to look for my Shiseido stuff...i cldn't find it at Tangs so i called Hayatul to check with her and she told me to go to Isetan. Okay...so I thought that since I was supposed to meet Kak Suz at Orc control stat., I might as well make my way to Isetan first. I searched high and low for Shiseido and couldn't find it and so I decided to ask one of the salesgirls. She told me that Isetan Scotts is the only place that has Shiseido....and I thought to myself, "yah great Hayatul...you didn't specify which Isetan to go to...no wonder I couldn't find the shawl section...blah.."

Ended up meeting Kak Suz first then we walked to Scotts and we were talking and laughing about stuff while pushing our way thru' the crowd. When we reached Isetan, I spotted Shiseido and was feeling excited much too soon...I asked the salesgirl about the new products but apparently, these products will only come next week...DISAPPOINTMENT!! I wouldn't be here next week....sighhh....however, I've found a solution to that..I asked Kak Milah to help me purchase those stuff...yayyyy! Okay...so then we went to get Kak Suz' journal at Borders after which Kak Suz got a bit hungry hence we headed to BK where I tried the new chicken salad and it was absolutely fabulous! There were quite a number of minah2 Indon there and we realised that they dressed better than us...sheeeshhh...

After BK, we took a walk to Kak Suz' favourite shop at Lucky Plaza..hahahha...and then continued walking towards Heeren...I bought a couple of DVDs...Thought of buying "A walk to remember" but it wasn't on sale...hahah...so I put it back..anyway, we went for coffee at CB Scotts...Thanx Kak Suz for the treat..*winks*....okay so after settling down on the comfortable sofas, Kak Suz started telling me about her friend (and I got a bit distracted by the stupid fly)...suddenly, I can't find a way to tell this really funny blooper committed by yours truly......it doesn't seem funny now as i'm figuring out how to put it into words...but my goodness, we were laughing like maddd!!

Okay...so she said this friend of hers has broken up with his Mauritian girlfriend who is Indian and stayed in Trinity...I don't know why but I must be missing Uni quite a bit coz the first person who came to my mind was this Indian girl who was in my anthropology tute last semester...so I blurted out, "Is she Singaporean?"...hahahah..immediately after I said that, we both burst out laughing...okay so you may or may not get it...the first thing she mentioned about this girl was that she's Mauritian and I ended up asking if she's Singaporean....anyway, it was sooo funny that we were laughing for quite some time..hahahha..Time was going by real fast (as per usual)...Earlier, I received a call from my bro who told me that they were going for dinner at Al-Ameen so he asked me to make my way there after 8.30...It was 8.15 when we walked to Far East to get food from Cahaya and we were talking about the problems in a relationship whereby the lady has a higher qualification than the man...very interesting exchange of ideas there....heheh

We went to the taxi-stand and kept on "jumping backwards" in the queue because I was waiting for my bro to call back...hahahaa...Well...I hope Kak Suz will have a great time at Whitley Sec tomorrow and for the next few weeks...!

Met my parents and the rest at Al-Ameen..they arrived late so I had to book a table...it was sooo hot inside...then i saw this makcik who looked vaguely familiar....she kept looking at me as well....I thought she looked like a fren's mom....

Hmmmm...Can't believe I have only 4 days left in SG....will be meeting my YJ mates tomorrow for dinner at Chijmes...oh mannn....3 months came and went...unbelievable!

a little soul-searching during mid-day...and then, distractions..

It's 10 Muharram today.....fasting together with my Mom...woke up about an hour ago..(it's 2.30pm now)...anyway...just thought I'd rant about some random stuff...

The topic today is perfection...what it means...and what it entails. Ever so often, we hear of people trying to perfect himself/herself and they are perhaps chasing after something that may not even exist in the first place. No exception on my part. However, i choose to define perfection in my own terms...and play the game by my own rules. I believe there is no such thing as perfection but there is something very close to it...and that is what my game is all about. Sometimes, I want to do too many things at one time because I want to become this capable person, undeterred by challenges..

In fact,I aspire to be gracious yet distant enough to be a little bit mysterious...reliable yet unpredictable...and most of all, perfect yet i know I'm lacking in some ways. It's all about the contradictions in life that bring me much closer to that point of near-perfection. I feel that some people may have misunderstood the true meaning of 'perfection' because they restrict their understanding of the term to just that particular one they find in the dictionary. That's a pity really because soon these people will discover to their dismay that that one meaning of perfection may never really exist. But then, people are entitled to whichever meaning they believe in....i'm not propagating nor am i preaching..it is just my opinion that they shouldn't restrict it to one that is not even theirs. It will only increase one's stress level and in turn, diminishes one's confidence.

"I'm not denying, I'm frightened as much as you..."

AND THE DISTRACTIONS...
Okay, now that I've replenished my then tank of dangerously low energy level, I've some other things to confess! I am nursing an addiction to ben & jerry's that boasts of a huge selection of fabulous flavours! Arrrgghhh...! Do try it peeps!

Yesterday, while reading CLEO, I saw some new stuff by Shiseido...I've been a loyal Maybelline girl for sooo many years and even tho' sometimes i buy certain products from various other names, Maybelline has always been my foundation. I have a fetish for Maybelline's "Wet Shine:liquid diamonds" lip gloss...in fact, i have a fetish for lip gloss..who doesn't rite??!hahah! My favourite's called "amethyst sparks". Since I saw Shiseido's new stuff, I've been itching to get them. I think I'll get the new Shiseido lip gloss and hydro-powder eye shadow tomorrow...yayyy!! OoOoOoo....and I absolutely can't get enuff of perfumes....i've been wanting to get a new fragrance...maybe i'll get Britney's "Curious" because it looks so cool with da atomizer...hmmm...or Paul Smith's...or perhaps Echo.....hmmm...decisions...decisions!

Anyway, I am gonna attempt to write my own songs....I have actually tried doing that just for the fun of it...in fact, i have a couple written down in my book...hahahha...I think i shall also share some of my poems here and also some poignant lyrics that I find irresistable...Now that I don't get the chance to attend any English units in Uni, gotta keep the literary fire going for as long as possible...let it shine..let it shine i say...ahhh...what rubbish am i talking abt?...hmmmm....I've too many distractions...

Friday, February 18, 2005

coz it's all in my head..i think about it over and over again..

Okay...so i've deleted those exact words from my previous entry because they looked so redundant and misplaced...therefore, they've formed the title of my current entry....no significance at the moment (they were once..)....i'm sure the beauty of these words will come back soon....when i have a lot more to think about..!

Anyway, Kiran just told me that da Superclub will be closed for an indefinite amount of time...she is obviously upset..hmmm....I don't think it will remain closed for too long because that would incur a heavy loss. Oh well....we'll see....

Bec Boog emailed me to ask if I have been to the workshops and whether i've taken the test. hahha...never did turn up for any of the workshops or tests....i didn't know I had to attend any..hahha...so I guess i have to when i get back to Perth..Another producer has taken my place on "The Drop" during my vacation period and so I think whoever that person is will remain there..i don't think i'd be going back there on wednesday nights.....now I'd get to do stuff on some other shows at a time more convenient for myself...Sara doesn't have to fetch me then...sounds like a good plan..heheh

Shane West baby is on my list

There is a reason why he is...because he reminds me of someone I used to know...yes yes same ol' same ol'...half da student population would be rolling their eyes at this mo. Hahha...an exaggeration on my part...but yeah...a number of my Uni friends would understand who I'm referring to...even if they don't think he looks a bit like Shane West(nose-down)...apa-apa lah...ahhh...i can still remember his sweet smile....damnn...i miss those Pol 223 days with Denemark and da whole gang of about 6 of us who would wait outside the tute room till Denemark showed up and each of us spoke with a different accent....of course my fav. was the thick Californian accent by the now "famous" American (yah...thanx to me).

Well...I just wanna talk about the hot guys on my list..hahah...which is by the way, a rather short one...because I have a peculiar (tho' quite common i must say) sense of taste. Let's get it rollin'...!

Okay so....Mr West is on my list aight...So is Matt Damon..and Chad Michael Murray...Vin Diesel... No no...the list goes on...it's not thattt short...these ppl made it to my list too...Lloyd Banks (G-unit)...Craig David..And bear this in mind..some of da hotties made it to my list not only coz of their physique but mainly coz their talents are too hot for me not to notice them...like Ludacris and 50Cent..

VJ KC from MTV is damnnnn cool and sleek....met him in person at Embassy and he's a nice dude too...how can i forget Carson Daly...he's definitely on my list! Da latest addition is Nate Berkus - Oprah's personal interior designer...he's suchhh a hottie...he's gay yes..but he's sooo cute with blue eyes and a great smile....check him out mannn...but i think he's not gonna be on Oprah in the next couple of months or so because he just lost his partner, photographer Fernando in the tsunami.

Ohh..how can i forget..For his superb emcee-ing skills, i will have to put him on my list...hahah...MC RAMI yo! Yes yes...roll ur eyes again...but u know he's a good one on stage..*check out his rockaway and lean back style* I likeee...i know his boo, Larissa won't be reading this so i shall lay it all down...hahah..i don't think she would mind if she were to read all these stuff anyway...she has heard worse and i've seen her reaction upfront..so i'm safe..hehe

OOoOo....WADE ROBSON AND HIS AWESOME MOVES...can't miss him out..! He is one hot choreographer! This other one..I call him "Mr Handsome"...that's got to be Sean Paul..and i still think Fred "da man" Durst is hot tho' I don't see him on MTV that often now..oh well..Ryan Seacrest is also on da list as he is a super-nice host with a super-nice smile! Plus ANTHONY CALLEA!! He should have been the Australian Idol...but yeah okay okay...Casey's good too..

And NELLY...my ultimate hottie...da most talented and absolutely da best! arrrghhh...can someone plssss get me a ticket to Nelly and the St Lunatics concert?!!??!
Hmm...i think i've missed out on a couple of dudes *thinks hard*...ooOoOo...Eric Bana and Duncan from Blue..!

Okay...That's it for now...those are da 20 hotties on my list..!

The movies that moved me..and those that i can't get enuff of..

I saw an ad in a mag about the release of "The Notebook" on vcds/dvds. Can't help recalling the scenes from the movie...some very vivid images come to mind. Nicholas Sparks has an amazing way of telling a love story (which is often set in North Carolina) in the most irresistable way possible. "The Notebook" has some of the most memorable lines delivered on-screen and I love the way romance lingers in the air thru'out the whole movie.

"I am nothing special; of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough. "

"Stay with you? What for? Look at us, we're already fightin'..Well that's what we do, we fight... You tell me when I am being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you are a pain in the ass. Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a 2 second rebound rate, then you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing. "

"So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day. "

Sadly tho', I didn't connect to "The Notebook" as much as I did to "A Walk to Remember". Needless to say, "A Walk to Remember" is one of my favourite books/movies to date. I think the book is wayyy funnier than the movie..hard to believe but indeed, it is true. If you did watch the movie, it seems quite apparent that there is almost no humour except for the antics of Langdon's friends and the occassional smart-ass rebuttals between Jamie and Dean. The movie seems to emphasize more on the love story that exists between Langdon and Jamie whereas the book has a more focused portrayal of Langdon as a teenager who practically changed his whole perspective of life after meeting Jamie. Basically, the book centralised more on Langdon and his growth as a person and he made some really funny remarks in the book. I was laughing a lot while reading it (which was highly unexpected as I watched the movie first and was expecting to shed a tear or two).

"But our love is like the wind. I can't see it, but I can feel it..."

I remember watching "AWtR" while on my way back to Perth and I was sobbing endlessly (considering the fact that i was leaving my hometown again, i was undoubtedly crying due to multiple factors). It was so heart-wrenching and so moving that I bought the vcds so that I could watch it over and over again (and put myself thru' the emotional torment repeatedly..yes...very sadistic). And every single time I watch it, I feel something stirring inside of me...something deep in my heart. Dramatic..?yes.. i know..but hey..i'm an emo queen...and have you heard the soundtrack? It's one of the best in my soundtrack collection (alongside Bad Boys II, Save the Last Dance, You got Served and 50 1st Dates..). If you like ballads, you'll love this one coz it's got Switchfoot in its best form! -

"[Chorus] I dare you to move I dare you to move I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor I dare you to move I dare you to move Like today never happened Today never happened before [Verse] Welcome to the fallout Welcome to resistance The tension is here Tension is here Between who you are and who you could be Between how it is and how it should be"

Oh well...i think i'll write more on my fav. movies and stuff later on...

"I was getting along with everything fine. I accepted it, and then you happened! I do not need a reason to be angry with God."

Visa complications

I made some horlicks walnut cookies for my Angah yesterday so that he would have something to munch on before he has to fast for his operation. However, his operation has been postponed as he had a fever and so, it is now set for the 1st of March.

Just went to settle my Uni fees and it's such a hassle trying to find ways to renew my visa without any further complications. It's such a headache!

dang.....time's running out pretty fast...

Hayatul came over for lunch as her mobile NKF van was in town..heheh...sounds like some MTV show..

Dinner with da whole fam

It was such a hugeee gathering....full strength! 3 cars -- 11 adults (not inclusive of da maids) + 10 kids = chaos!! We went for dinner straight from my Angah's place today...and it was such a hilarious event. When we reached there, we met another set of family...our relatives from Bedok and it became a super huge "congregation"!

Tomorrow, my Angah and Kak Ngah will come over to 241 and we will go to NUH together as he has to be warded before his major operation on Tuesday. Sooo.....da next few days of mine will be spent at NUH definitely..no doubt bout that!

I hope everything will go well..insyaallah...

Oh yah...I came back from KL yesterday....it was a good trip...a lot of da shops were closed tho'...and I didn't get to meet my frens...coz one of them left for Perth da day afta i reached KL and i didn't bring da contact numbers of da other two frens...smart me! I got my sari!!yayyy!! Can't wait for Multicultural Nite 2005!! Hope it will be a blast as usual!

Madness Part I

I cannot comprehend this situation at hand. How could a person whom I thought has become part of my past come back so suddenly? I have never thought this day would come but indeed, it is happening to me. It is so weird. Now, my mind's filled with so many questions...i hate it! Why does he have to come back? I don't understand! It's so mindless!

Now he's telling me he's in Queensland. What da??! And we just exchanged our Aussie numbers...oh dear....I have a feeling that this year is going to be more interesting than I thought it would be...hmmmm....

everything's gonna be okay if i do it my way..my way.

A sequel to my first entry (which wasn't much but the title was and still is very significant).....Got that one from the legendary Frank Sinatra...and this one right here...i got it from LL Cool J...These words shall guide me thru' this year...to put it simply, I just need to "Do it my way":

Every single day, I learn something new...every single day, I just want to become a better person. And I have come to realise that originality is still the best - which means in order to achieve my goals and my dreams, I need to be able to do things my way. Yes...it may be hard sometimes, but ultimately, I have to hold on to the things that I believe are true and most of all, I have to hold on tight to my faith.

I am well aware that every time I'm put to the test, everyone else around me would be confident that I would do well...everyone except myself. Sounds like i'm low on confidence but it has helped me to push myself harder. Being the optimist that I am, no matter how low my confidence level is, I keep telling myself that things will be okay but simultaneously, I worry myself to death. It's complicated really and basically, all these while, it's just me against myself.

Everywhere I go, in everything that I do, I bring with me some expectations. Sometimes, this may be bad....but I believe, these expectations are only for myself thus it shouldn't be affecting anyone else (at least, that's how the story is supposed to go)...Hence, in order to make myself work harder and to help myself achieve my goals, these expectations are essential. The negative only comes when these expectations are not met (because I show my disappointments in overwhelming ways)...and again, I am the only one who is supposed to be affected..( I think there may be spill-over effects but I never intend for such things to occur).

Well....the point is...taking other people's success as examples to spur me on is one thing...to obtain success in my own unique way is another. Another individual's style may not suit me thus I have to always remind myself that what others do best may not be what I do best. The same things that they do, I need to do them my own way even if it takes longer. At the end of the day, only my assessment of myself matters most.

2 of my nieces Posted by Hello

it was just me being...me

It feels betta to talk things out....I realised that basically, I was feeling stiffled and I just needed my space. My nephews and nieces are growing up.....and it is normal I reckon to be feeling this way...I talked to Sumi last nite...and yeah....it makes sense....I feel a bit guilty now because it's not as if I just got to know all of them yesterday....it was easier when they were little kids and now they're getting older...what a challenge for their Auntie!

I think this is also good practice for me...Indeed it is....oh well...i think I will post some pics of my nieces and nephews soon...Today, we're all going to my Angah's new place....he's shifting in today. Big gathering again...

Kak Suz's post-engagement party

Last Saturday, I drove to Bishan to attend a very important function...hehehe....it was Kak Suz's post-engagement party...heheheh...it was quite hilarious while i was on my way there because dear Kak Suz told me to drive straight all da way from Yishun...and so I did....i was driving straight for 15 minutes and thought I had lost my way when I received calls from Di who was waiting at da void deck and Jmil (who, by da way, thought i was supposed to meet her at da MRT station...*apa sajaaa dok*).....I was about to panic when i saw da word "BISHAN" in front of me....phewwww!...What a relief!

And so...it was a lovely gathering.....catching up with da others and playing "taboo" which was fun...*yeah Naz...what rows on your head?*..heehhehe....very fun indeed! I'm happy for Suz coz she has finally found her man and everything has fallen into place for her...je trouve ca passionant....*winks*

Well....I'm looking forward to helping you out with da wedding arrangements...hehehe....and I'm honoured to be given the chance to do so...

This is quite fun...hmmmm...I must make it a pt to update it everyday when i'm over in Perth so that you guys can know what's up or down with me...

I think the past year has really been very challenging for me...and it was in 2004 that I realised how important you guys are to me and how you guys will be there to catch me when I fall even tho' you're miles away...It is a miracle how our friendship is still going strong and how crazy we are despite da scary fact that we're getting older...heheh

"Every now and then...we find a special friend...who never lets us down..."....

This entry is especially for my Ice-Quinn, Chief Dayang and Queen Mother...muacks!!

Luv...Pryncess

things to look forward to...and the has-beens

There are quite a number of things that I look forward to in Perth....I hope that it doesn't take long to re-adjust to da life there.

I'm feeling a bit nervous actually.....I know this is normal coz i've shuttled to and fro so many times before...yet I could never control my nerves..

I know Veenz and me will continue with our dance class and who knows, we'll get involved in another Soiree...And since Audz is still in Perth, I know for sure that we are going to watch more plays, ballets and musicals...

I'll be moving back to Upper Prescott (yes...so Jmil is gonna be my neighbour again..heheh..back to old times..) and I must say that it's gonna be a bit different from da U.Pres i knew 2 years back...hmmmm....however, I'm sure it's gonna be a great change coz now, I'm more certain I have da right people around me...these people helped lift my spirits up when I was trying to get on with life last semester...and I hope things will just get betta from now on...

Kiran called da other day and she seems to have this social calendar all drawn out....including mine...hahaha....she's mad i tell you...I'm smiling now thinking of our previous Superclub adventures..hahha...

I kinda miss my Social Sec post....I love working with my HC'04....Anna, Audz, Nella, Yvette, Elfie, Sara, Dyan and Nelly....we were such a powerhouse and I've had tremendous fun working with them...it's unbelievable how 1 year can be over so soon...it's true what they say...
le temps passe vite quand on s'amuse..time flies when u're havin' fun..

They've given me so much support when I was ovewhelmed with so much stuff to do for the La Masquerade Ball...I'm glad I'm gonna be seeing some of them often this year...Thank God that Elfie's in da same department as me...we can freak out together..hahah..! And i think da joke's on Nella again...she's gonna be on da piano....oh mannn....so many memories...

signing off...DJ Sunshine...

Tryin' to update my website in these few days...

I haven't updated my website for quite some time now....I don't really know what to do with it....I wouldn't want too many changes done to it tho'...hmmm....

I'm on MSN now...and this person whom I haven't chatted with and haven't heard from for da past 4 years is online...I was so shocked to see his nickname under my online contacts...
hmmmm....but I'm not sure whether I should talk to him...it's complicated...i think I'll tell Farah...

Yesterday, my cousin came over and I managed to talk to her a bit about my plans n stuff....she told me about the job at PA and what it's all about...sounds very interesting tho' a bit scary as the hours are long and unpredictable...but it does sound like something I would enjoy...I think i'll give it a go..

I've 3 entries in less than an hour....this is crayyyzeee....

Counting down...

I have 21 days left in Singapore before I head back to Perth...wow....how time flies...this is unbelievable...A month ago, I was fretting over my Honours application...and a month later, I'm packing my luggage...Sometimes, I feel that it's such a waste how much I worry for certain things because in the end, all I need is FAITH..in GOD and in MYSELF.

Yesterday, I had a chat with Di because I feel that she can understand my plight as she is also an Auntie to young kids who are growing up. I was feeling a bit tired, having to handle my nieces and nephews almost every day...and it's taking a toll on me...I wonder how my Mom can actually endure it for soooo long.

It's not that I don't care or I don't want to be around them but I need my space at times and I would like to spend some quiet time with my Mom...Furthermore, whenever I have to take care of them altogether simultaneously, it drains me out...and I feel as tho' i'm taking on more responsibilities than I can ever imagine. Suddenly, I feel that I'm not ready at all for all these and at this point of time, I can actually afford to leave behind these responsibilities...yet I kept on feeling obliged to contribute...and I'm tired now...

Anyway...yes....that's what I chatted with Di about yesterday...and she did give me some good insights...

Now..onto other things...I've been practising and practising and the more I practise, the more i'm convinced it's gonna take me eons to reach grade 4...damnit...but no...i shall not give up...(haha!)

And more, much more than this, I did it my way...

Thanx to Farah...I have officially been inspired to start my own blog afta so long. A number of people have asked me for my blog add and I have never managed to give them one so...here goes...

I had so many things to share just a while ago yet now I don't feel like putting them all down....hmmm....i think my mood swing is kicking in again...I'll continue later...
