Deal with the drama...deal with me.

Ramadhan's here once again and I'm glad I'm back in SG.

I was at Ngee Ann City for the Yellow Ribbon Project. Hot and humid day. Managed to get thru' the 3 hours I was on duty. Spoke to few people and enticed them to become volunteers. Hahha! Anyhow asked them to write down their names.

And then, met an old friend and his gf. Funny how he reminded me of kisah-kisah masa silam coz he kept updating me on LKT and stuff..hahaha!

After that, met QM and Ice-Quinn for dinner. As usual, constant bickering..esp. about the themes that QM came up with. I still want retro/mid-eastern night. REMEMBER: IT'S MY PARTY! And don't let me repeat my story - "if you're the wedding planner, could you say you're the bride too?" GET IT? haiii...susah betul lah...I really couldn't hear how loud my voice was lah. I think we created some noise pollution. Hahha!

Okay...QM...time to taubat. U too, Ice-Quinn...i don't know for what but i guess semua kena taubat lah kan. HAHAHAH!

Selamat berpuasa to all!

Waiting on the world to change...

Me and all my friends
We're all misunderstood
They say we stand for nothing
There's no way we ever could
Now we see everything is going wrong
With the world and those who lead it
We just feel like we don't have the means
To rise above and beat it

So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

Its hard to be persistant
When we're standing at a distance
So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

Now if we had the power
To bring our neighbors home from war
They would've never missed a Christmas
No more ribbons on their door
When you trust your television
What you get is what you got
Cuz when they own the information
ooohhh, They can bend it all they want

So while we're waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
It's not that we don't care
We just know that the fight ain't fair
So we keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We're still waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

One day our generation
Is gonna rule the population

Let the tale be told.

And so said the cast of 'Forbidden City'.

I'm starting to familiarise myself with the roads here. Managed to drive myself from Thomson to Esplanade. *clap clap* Met up with Sunshine Sis for dinner @ Ichiban Boshi before heading to the theatre for the preview of 'Forbidden City'. Yes...it's the night before the opening night. I don't know why we had a bit of fun with that info.

Overall, it was good. I was especially impressed by the lyrics and the strong voices of the actors and actresses. They seemed really passionate about the whole musical that it really came across in the way they sang the songs. Such gusto!

The next morning, headed to KL with Mak and Bak. Wow...our hotel was smacked right in the middle of the shopping area. We went to Sungei Wang and I reckon we spent most of our moolahs there. I'm so pleased with my purchase(s). Haha...I bought a lot of shoes...a lot. I'm embarrassed to disclose the exact amount. Those who know me will be able to guess lah...so no need to say here mah. Hahahah!

I have finally felt how good it is to spend your hard-earned money.
