Everyday..We be burning not concerning what nobody wanna say...

Is Sean Paul philosophical or what? Muahahahhaa!

2006 is fast-approaching.....what a year it has been! Lots of time spent by myself...wandering the streets of Perth when everyone else was in class...no no...I'm no rebel but hey...what to do if the Pol Sci dept only expects me in once or twice a week..not my fault. Besides, I had my own load of research to do in my room...!
Come to think of it, I loved my schedule! I loved the fact that I had the space and time to do my own stuff......to take a break whenever I feel like it....and my breaks almost always constitute of a trip to the city.

And then, there were those Saturday nights....Fridays nights too at times....Many wonderful moments spent hanging out in one another's room, talking and laughing about anything and everything. Let's not forget the people back home whom have been spending time with me whenever I'm back in town. You guys are my pillars of strength. Well....let's make this short....I've learnt so much this year....about myself, about the people around me. My priorities have been reinstated once again...though I do realise that when it comes to affairs of the heart, it ain't easy. There were a couple of things that I wanted to resolve this year but I couldn't. A disappointment....and I've only got myself to blame really.

Thanx to all who have stuck by me....thru' the ups and downs. Thanx for all the good times and....the lessons which you've shared with me or those we've been lucky enough to experience together in this thing called life.

HAPPY 2006!May this year bring more success and prosperity to everyone....and may y'all always be surrounded by love and happiness. Remember - every moment is a blessing...be it good or bad. So hang in there peeps!

The month of holy matrimonies

Spent half the day at a relative's wedding. There were so many people....and since I just came back, naturally...many "yang tanya khabar". It was damn kecoh with the makcik-makcik making jokes here and there......quite funny looking at them. Hahhah...anyway, I saw quite a number of familiar faces....well...as expected coz the bride was in Kranji and the guy lives in Bt Panjang.
Just an update on my current mission of reading books on the top 100 list compiled by Angus & Robertson...it's going pretty well....
Wanna share some good phrases from the past couple of books that I was reading -
"Most people are nice....when you finally see them..."
- From "To kill a mockingbird" by Harper Lee
"Zendagi migzara, we say, life goes on. But I am not surrendering to fate here, I am being pragmatic...There is such a thing as God's will."
"...it always hurts more to have and lose than to not have in the first place..."
- From "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini

And like what Sylvie has said....lemme quote her words of wisdom..."the adventure has barely begun..." and you're cmg with me, babe.

Those we hurt most are often those whom we love most.

Just food for thought this early December morning....heheh

Haven't been blogging for quite a while eh...I'm back home now. I'm just happy to be in the company of my loved ones that I don't have any expectations really....besides wanting my own privacy at certain times of the day...haha...

With that said, I don't feel like planning anything elaborate for my birthday...just a get-together with whoever who can make it.....I'm like....seriously taking it easy...funny...must have been the events of the last 2 weeks of my stay in Perth...it was the most dramatic hiatus I've ever taken. What was meant to be my oh-so-relaxing break became more than just that.It was good coz I learnt a few things.....about people...about myself. I did a lot of self-reflection....I'd probably learnt a lot more about life in those 2 weeks than I did in the past 4 years....well...a lot at such a drastic pace that it seemed like it was more than I ever did.

Anyway, I had a dream about him and his group about 2 nights ago....I shouldn't have. I don't know why I did...it's not as if I have been thinking about it extensively since I came back. I'm pretty much over it....but maybe, just maybe......I can't believe I took a lesson from him.

Well...whatever it is, I've learnt...and that is all that matters.I hope the March plan goes well.....and I hope I'll get a job soon.....I don't know why but I just feel like going and going.....I think the 2-wk break was enuff for me....maybe.
