Purpz' Bday @ Fig & Olive

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon. Sunny at first and then it rained pretty heavily turning the afternoon into a nice, cool Sunday. However the weather was, we had a wonderful time catching up...laughing and dissing all at the same time. As if bringing the house down at Fig & Olive wasn't enough, we HAD to bring the noise to TCC. Haha!

Hope Purpz enjoyed herself as much as we'd wanted her to. Happy Birthday, Sunshine Sis!

Accessories...and more...

My mom and sis bought me some hair accessories that I have been eyeing for months now...hehehehe....yayyyy...thank u, my dear ladies! One fine day, I was walking around People's Park with a colleague and I spotted the shop that sells all these pretty hair accessories...and so I just had to drag 'em ladies there! They spent a hundred over on me...yes...I'm expensive...I'm sure they've discovered this a long time ago yet they never ever give up on me...and YOU guys shouldn't too! Muahahahah!

Thought I'd take some pictures of my newly-acquired accessories but I'm a tad too lazy to upload pics at the moment...make a date with me and I'll show them to you..haha!

A few updates on stuff...been some time since I last wrote on the happenings in my life.

Work:

...has been fine. As usual, ups and downs. No holding them back ey? It's been like that since I started. Getting more comfortable with the routine and definitely more immuned to ermm...comments and feedbacks. I was rather surprised that after one of those now-regular sharing sessions, I was still singing away in the car on my way home. It was a Friday night and I had refused to let anything spoil my weekend. And so I sang...

Social:

...has been all right too. Trying to put more time aside to meet my peeps. Trying. After THE trip, I will work on signing up for stuff I'm hoping to indulge in more permanently. Right now, the trip is exhausting my savings acct. So gotta put on hold all those shopping sprees (ask Di on how I lamented not being able to spend till after April while browing thru' at Topshop and Isetan...) and other extra-curricular activities. I simply can't wait for PHANTOMMMM...been watching the trailer on TV and oh those memories from Cats coming back in a rush...April will be an exhilarating month indeed.

Plans for THE TRIP:

... are going great so far!! Everything is slowly falling into place. Waiting to execute the masterplan. I'm just hoping things remain stable until one of my dreams has been materialised. 1-year in the making baybehhhhh..! It's about to happen...

Pump it!

It's been such a long time since I last went for a proper choreography. But I thought, "oh well...I can just pick things up where I left them..." And boyyyyy was I wrong!

I enjoyed it a lot...esp. coz my hommz is back and we're at it again but heck...my stamina's so bad now! However, one thing's for sure, I'm better off free-styling. And apparently, my hommz thinks she's better off without the choreography too!

Nonetheless, a choreographed dance is fun! And when you have a sporting trainer, it's all the more exciting! I recall our good ol' days in the Dance Workshop...busting our ermm..bones for the 'Soiree'. Those were wonderful times...

Well...we are hoping to get back into the groove real soon...probably after my trip in April. Till then, gotta get my stamina back..somehow....
