What's your deepest fear?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

- Marianne Williamson

Check out more pictures at rangelle.multiply.com from the craziness that is us. Went to Base on Friday and then Supa_sta night @ Metro City on Saturday. And yayyy....we've gotten our potterhead inc tees!!

Raha! I lurve your Marianne Williamson quote!!! It's from Coach Carter, ain't it? Man, it's so meaningful and poignant. I really subscribe to that belief - To those who have been given much, much will be asked of them. People blessed with talents, opportunities and the many little graces contained within a lifetime shouldn't hide 'em, waste 'em, deny or belittle 'em. We are all called to be greater than we are, and to use that for a cause larger than ourselves. It all starts by acknowledging our innermost potential and setting it free, and to bring along as many as we possibly can for the ride. Like I read from another blogquote somewhere else: "The time to start living your dreams is now, even if that does scare the crap outta you." Okaaay... so maybe I paraphrased a 'lil on those last few words, but the spirit of the message is essentially the same. So, here's to an unknown future, and the courage to live it!

yes buddy...glad u like it....yup..it's from Coach Carter. really inspiring, ain't it?! i hope some ppl wouldn't misinterpret it as a motivation to "shine for the sake of oneself" and along the way, putting others down. Because what this quote truly means is to use our abilities to the best we can, not to make others feel inferior to us but to put ourselves in a better position so that we can in turn help others shine as well. i am particularly annoyed by those who constantly make others feel uncomfortable by praising and giving themselves too much credit. i believe that if you're a force to be reckoned with, you don't need to make it darn obvious because ppl will eventually recognise your talents.
